WorkPhone Devices
When you install the WorkPhone app for the first time, it creates a SIP device automatically in the hosted PBX. The device information in Smart PBX will indicate which platform the app was installed on, e.g. Desktop PC (macOS or Windows), Android (version), Web (Browser) etc..
License - single device per-user
If your account has a license for one WorkPhone device per user and you want to use the phone on another device, you can install the app on the second device then choose Migrate to fetch your original SIP information. You can also revert back to the original device as needed. While you are using one device, the original one will not work.
Note
If your account has only one device license per user and you install WorkPhone on a second device using "Create New", the account will be billed for the second device.
License - unlimited device per-user
If your account has a license for unlimited WorkPhone devices per user, then each time you install the app on a different device, e.g. laptop, mobile, desktop then you can select Create New and a new SIP device will be created. You will then have multiple working apps and during a call you can move the call from one device to another if needed.
