Hosted PBX Quick User Guide

TO ANSWER AN INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CALL:
  • Lift handset
  • TO PICKUP A CALL RINGING AT ANOTHER EXTENSION:
  • Dial 88#
  • TO MAKE AN EXTERNAL CALL:
  • Lift handset, dial the number
  • Press send or #
  • TO PAGE ALL EXTENSIONS:
  • Dial 90#
  • TO TRANSFER A CALL:
  • During call press Tran key
  • Dial the extension or external number
  • Press # announce the call
  • Press Tran key again.
  • TO NOTIFY AN EXTENSION OF CALL HOLDING(PARKING):
  • Dial extension, followed by #
  • Notify user of parking lot
  • TO HOLD A CALL:
  • Press the Hold key once
  • TO REACCESS A CALL ON HOLD:
  • Press either the Hold key or flashing line key
  • DO NOT DISTURB:
  • Press the DND Key
  • TO ADJUST THE VOLUME ON THE HANDSET:
  • Using the Volume (+/-) Key
    while on a call adjusts the call volume,
    if not on a call it adjusts the ring volume
  • TO DIVERT CALLS:
  • Dial *72 and follow the instructions
  • To remove divert, dial *73
  • To toggle between, dial *74
  • NOTE: For Yealink devices, add # to the shortcode, e.g. *73#
  • TO USE THE HANDSFREE FACILITY:
  • Press the Speaker key
  • TO STORE SPEED DIAL NUMBERS:
  • Press and Hold the key
  • Switch to Speed Dial
  • Account ID: Account 1
  • Label: as required
  • Value: enter number
  • TO REDIAL NUMBERS DIALLED/RECEIVED:
  • Select History key
  • Choose required number
  • AUTOMATIC CALLBACK/PARKING:
  • Press Tran key
  • Dial *31 to place the call in parking slot 1 etc
  • To pick up Dial *31
  • Calls can be retrieved from any handset
  • TO ACCESS VOICEMAIL:
  • Dial *97 or press the Message Key
  • NOTE: For Yealink devices, dial *97#
  • TO MAKE A CONFERENCE CALL:
  • During call, press the Conf Key
  • Dial the second number, followed by #
  • Wait for the party to answer
  • Press Conf again
