Yealink - Update Firmware

Before manually pushing a new firmware file through the phone's interface you must first make a change in the Advanced Provisioner app.

Before you begin

  1. Go to Advanced Provisioner > Devices.

  2. Click the settings icon on the device that you want to configure, and click Configure from the dropdown.

  3. Go to the Settings tab.

  4. Scroll to the "Firmware" section and select "Use own firmware (V81 or above)"

To manually update firmware:

  1. Go to the URL: http://support.yealink.com/documentFront/forwardToDocumentFrontDisplayPage
  2. Download the Firmware version for the model that you want to update.
  3. Log into the web interface of the phone, by entering the IP of the phone in the web browser. See Check IP.

  4. Go to Settings > Upgrade and upload the file that you downloaded in Step 2.

  5. Click "Upgrade" to start the process.

  6. The following message appears.

  7. Do not close the tab or refresh the page in your browser, it takes about 5 minutes until the phone is ready to use again.
