Yealink T23G, T27G, T29G

Answer an internal/external call
  • Lift the handset or,
  • Press the speakerphone, or
  • Press the HEADSET key
Make an external call
  • Lift the handset
  • Dial the number
  • Press OK, or the # key, or Send, or the Send softkey
Blind transfer
  • Transfer a call directly
  • Press the TRAN key or the Tran softkey
  • Enter the number you want to transfer to
  • Press the TRAN key or the Tran softkey to complete the transfer
Attended transfer
    • Transfer a call with prior consulting
    • Press the TRAN key or the Tran softkey
    • Enter the number you want to transfer to
    • Press the OK key, or the #/Send key or the Tran softkey
    • Wait for the party to answer, announce the call
    • Press the TRAN key or Tran softkey to complete the transfer, or you can press the Cancel softkey to return to the original caller
Divert calls
  • Dial *72 and follow the instructions
  • To cancel, dial *73
  • To toggle between, dial *74
Do not disturb
  • Press the DND softkey to activate
  • Press the DND softkey to deactivate
Access voicemail
  • Dial *97 or press the Message Key
Make a conference call
  • During a call, press the Conf Key
  • Dial the second number followed by # key
  • Wait for the other party to answer and then press Conf again
Park a call
  • During a call, press Tran Key,
  • Dial *31 to place the call in parking slot 1 (dial *32 for parking slot 2 etc)
Unpark a call
  • Dial *31 - calls can be retrieved from any handset. (or dial *32 for the caller in slot 2 etc)
    (Note: *3 is the default code and may be different on some sites)
Redial
  • Press the RD twice to dial your last number, or
  • Press the RD key once, use the up and down arrow keys to the desired number,
  • Press the RD key or the Send softkey
Hold
  • Press the Hold Key once to put the caller on hold
  • Press the Hold key again to retrieve the caller, or the flashing line key, or the Resume softkey
Mute/unmute
  • Press the X key to mute
  • Press the X key to unmute
Volume
  • Using the Volume (+/-) Key while on a call adjusts the call volume
  • Using the Volume (+/-) Key when the phone is idle it adjusts the ring volume
Speed dial numbers
  • Press the Menu Softkey
  • Press 2 or the down arrow for Features
  • Press 3 or the down arrow for the DSS Key
  • Scroll to the key you want to program. e.g., 10 and press the OK key
  • Press 1 for the Type, press the left or right arrow until Speed Dial is displayed
  • Press 2 for Account ID, leave as Line 1
  • Press 3 for the Label, type in the name of the name of who the telephone number belongs to
  • Press 4 for the Value, type in the Telephone number
  • Press the Save softkey
Busy lamp field (BLF)
  • Press the Menu Softkey
  • Press 2 or the down arrow for Features
  • Press 3 or the down arrow for the DSS Key
  • Scroll to the key you want to program. e.g., 4 and press the OK key
  • Press 1 for the Type, press the left or right arrow until BLF is displayed
  • Press 2 for Account ID, leave as Line 1
  • Press 3 for the Label, type in the name of the user you want to monitor
  • Press 4 for the Value, type in the extension number of the user
  • Press the Save softkey
Pick up a ringing extension
  • Dial *87 followed by the ringing extension number

Note

The last key on the right will display the page number if you have programmed more than the standard buttons. Press this button to view the additional programmed keys. BLF Keys can also be programmed on the IP Telecom system by your IP Telecom Administrator.
