Unidata - Setting up a Unidata Device
When you are setting up a Unidata phone for the first time, you must provide IP Telecom with the following details. We will register the phone in our database. When we have confirmed registration, follow the steps to set up the phone.
- Wifi name (SSID) and Wifi password
- The user that will be using the phone and the name/number you want to display on the screen of the phone
- Mac address of the phone
The device might first need to download the latest firmware, this will take a few minutes. When the phone is back you must configure, connect to Wifi and then modify the input IP.
To configure your Unidata phone:
- Press the "down" arrow
- Press "9" for "Admin Menu"
- Default password: 000000 (6 zeros)

- Press "Set"
- On the phone, go to WLAN, select your Wifi network.
- Connect the phone to WiFi by choosing WPA2-PSK-AES and press "Down" to enter the password
The phone downloads and updates the firmware from the server.
