Polycom - Transferring Calls

There are two ways to transfer calls:

  • Unattended or blind transfer - transfer the caller without announcing the call
  • Attended transfer - place the caller on hold and introduce the call before you transfer it

  1. During the call, press the Tsfr softkey at the bottom of the screen. The caller is put on hold, and you hear a dial tone.

  2. Dial the phone number or extension of the party you want to transfer the call to, and press the Send softkey at the bottom of the screen and wait for the other party to answer.

  3. Introduce the call and press the Tsfr softkey at the bottom of the screen again to connect the two parties.

  4. To cancel the transfer and return to the original party, press the Cncl softkey at the bottom of the screen.

  1. During the call, press the More softkey at the bottom of the screen twice, and then press the BlindX softkey at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Dial the phone number or extension of the party you want to transfer the call to, and press the Enter softkey at the bottom of the screen. (If you dial the full number, the Poly VVX phone automatically starts dialing)

  3. To cancel the transfer and return to the original party, press the Cncl softkey at the bottom of the screen.
