Distinctive Ringtones

If your device supports it, you can have different ringtones to distinguish calls that are external versus those that are direct dial internally. You can provision the device in Advanced Provisioner to play different ringtones and then update the device in the Callflows app with the appropriate alert-info header provided by the manufacturer.

  1. Open the Advanced Provisioner app and select the device that you want to apply this feature to.

  2. Click the settings icon and select Configure.

  3. Go to Preferences > Distinctive Ringtone, select Ringtone 4 for "Internal Ringtone" and the default Ringtone 1 for "External Ringtone".

  4. Save changes.

  5. Go back to the device configuration icon and click Restart. The phone reboots and forces the new configuration to download.

  6. Go to the Callflows app > Device and select the device on which you made changes.

  7. Select Advanced > Options tab, and enter http://localhost>;info=Internal (Yealink string)

  8. Save your changes.
