Hide caller ID

There are several ways to hide caller-ID either per user or for the whole account.

Account level

Set caller-ID privacy on the entire account in the control center. Go to Control Center > Account:

User level

Choose from one of the following three options:

  1. Use the Privacy feature code *67 to block your caller-ID from being displayed.
  2. Dial 141 before the number.
  3. Go to Smart PBX > User > User Setting > Caller ID Privacy:

Device level

  1. Go to Smart PBX > Devices > Edit > Advanced > Miscellaneous

  2. Set 141 as a prepend on the device.

Permanently hide outbound caller ID on user or device

  1. Go to Callflows > User.
  2. Select the user you want to update.
  3. In the "Outbound Calls" section, enter “anonymous” in the caller ID name field.
