Configuring your Technicolour FTTC Modem

The Technicolour modem connects your computers, smartphones, tablets and other network compatible devices with each other and with your home network.

Setting up your modem

  1. Plug the modem to the Ethernet port of your computer.

  2. Go to the IP address 192.168.1.1, you are asked for username and password:

    • Your Username: admin
    • Password: this is the password (Access Key) on the small card that comes with the modem

  3. Skip the request to change the password.

  4. Click Gateway.

  5. Go to ""+ show advanced".

  6. Scroll down and go to Tools > Set up your Gateway.

Setting up your gateway

  1. Configure your gateway as follows:

    • Connection Type: - Type: VDSL

    • Connection Configuration – VDSL

    • Enabled: slide to enable
    • IPv6: OFF
    • Routed Type: PPPoE
    • Username: username from CMA order
    • Password: password from CMA order
    • MTU: 1492
    • VLAN Enabled: ON
    • VLAN ID: 10

  2. Click SAVE.
